Finding the Lord for Myself, Timothy Liu

I needed the Lord to be as personal to me as He was to those who were close to me. I came to the realization that if I did not seek the Lord in my earlier years I might eventually lose the opportunity. I had graduated from college and was working at the time. Not only did I desire to know the Lord, but I also longed to have a dramatic change in my living and character. Family and friends encouraged me to come to attend the Full-

Time Training in Anaheim. Arriving at a certain level of disappointment with the lack in my character as well as my desire to know the Lord, I decided to leave work and attend the Training. It was here that I was helped not only to normalize my Christian life, but also to personalize the Lord who had formerly been distant to me (John 4:24).

One of the top experiences I have had in the Training is to be enjoying the rich ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. I was able to connect intimately with the Lord, having learned from both their experiences. I am presently in my last semester of the Training and my time here has been very precious. I realize that to be a normal Christian I need to enjoy Christ moment by moment as the present Christ. Christ wants to dispense Himself into me every time I am open to Him. If I continuously open to Him then He is faithful to infuse into me His feelings, His thoughts and His Person.

The Training has provided me the opportunity to pursue and gain the Lord, which has subsequently helped better my character.

The Full-Time Training provides an atmosphere that is altogether meant to assist us in pursuing the Lord.
